SSSO Honors 13 Musicians at Opening Season Concert

At their opening concert weekend for the 24-25 season, SSSO recognized thirteen musicians who had retired from the orchestra and who provided outstanding service over a long period of time. Together, these thirteen musicians have dedicated five hundred and thirty-eight years of service, an outstanding achievement which SSSO’s wished to formally recognize.

Lucinda Strasenburg, Violin—54 years of service

Janet Hutchison, Violin—54 years of service

Nathaniel Fossner, Oboe/English Horn—45 years of service

Lisa Kindt, Violin—45 years of service

John DeValve, Violin—42 years of service

Rick Rowley, Viola/Violin—40 years of service

Meme Pittman, Viola—38 years of service

Christine Dalapas, Violin—37 years of service

Susan Debronsky, Cello—36 years of service

Betsy Westman, Violin—32 years of service

Sean Lowery, Trumpet—30 years of service
